INTRODUCTION OF C-THERM CSF FLEXIBLE EPOXY-GLASS SYNTACTIC FOAM THERMAL INSULATION FOR FLOWLINES AND RISERS

(Avon MA) Cuming Corporation announces the introduction of C-THERM CSF flexible epoxy-glass syntactic foam thermal insulation for flowlines and risers. The new material has outstanding flexibility, permitting insulated lines to be reeled for rapid deployment in deep water. C-THERM CSF is the result of years of polymer development and testing, and is protected by a number of existing patents and patents pending. A variety of grades and constructions are available, starting at 212o F (100o C) at 10,000 feet (3000m). Thermal conductivity is approximately 0.10 Btu-ft (0.171 W/m-K). Customers are encouraged to request a detailed data sheet and to contact our sales engineers for expert technical advice.
