Cuming Corporation is a pioneer and technical leader in the manufacture of high-performance, technically advanced syntactic foam materials for the oil & gas, marine, industrial and aerospace industries.

We specialize in the production of C-FLOAT syntactic foam flotation for  riser modules, fairings, buoys, and other large flotation devices. We also produce vacuum-cast C-THERM modules for insulating flowlines, SCR’s, vertical risers, hybrid risers, field joints, jumpers, and subsea equipment.

Cuming Corporation’s headquarters in Avon, Massachusetts is the world’s largest and most modern factory for the manufacture of flotation and insulation products. Cuming Corporation also has the largest and most modern testing facility in the industry, where we measure performance of full size riser modules to 14,500 feet in its hydrostatic test chambers. Our New Iberia, Louisiana facility produces our patented C-THERM syntactic foam insulation, which helps ensure steady flow of deepwater petroleum products from the wellhead to their final destination. This new facility features state-of-the-art manufacturing and test equipment, with the potential for quadrupling manufacturing capacity in the years to come.
